Deluxe Rug/Bare Floor Nozzle SBD 265: < > The SBD265 deluxe Rug and Floor Tool comes with S200 and S300 series Miele canisters without Turbo or Electric power Nozzles. It has a top mounted lever to switch between carpets and bare floors. For bare floors, a brush strip around the perimeter pops out to provide a brushing action. Notches in the bristles along the front allow dirt to easily enter the nozzle. < > Switching to carpets and rugs, the brush strip is recessed, allowing the channeled steel sole plate to contact the carpet, pulling air through the carpet fibers to clean it. This tool has a rather unique design, with a multi-jointed elbow and roller assembly. A heavy duty rubber roller is positioned at the base of the elbow, Distributing the weight and downward pressure of the wand evenly. A special pivot enables the nozzle itself to self-adjust to any carpet height or bare floor, keeping it level at all times. The elbow pivots vertically allowing it to adjust to a wide range of angles and move effortlessly over the surface of the carpet. It also pivots sideways to clean under low furniture.
